LAS ENGINEERED SURFACE SYSTEMS

ENGINEERED SURFACES.
CONTROLLED MOTION.

LAS designs reusable interfaces from the surface outward — to lock, align, rotate, level and position with geometry that can be traced from mathematics to the physical part.

THE LAS SURFACE SERIES

Five generations.
One engineering language.

Each platform explores a different relationship between surfaces — from exact-mating waves to directional symmetry, radial fields, controlled rotation and multi-ring angular engagement.

WHY LAS

Not a texture.
An engineered interface.

LAS surface products are developed as functional geometry. The design record is preserved so the digital model, mathematical intent, STL geometry and prototype evidence can be checked against each other.

VIEW ENGINEERING RECORD
01MATHEMATICS

Define the surface field, mating identity, clearances and directional behavior.

02CAD

Encode the exact geometry with controlled dimensions and manufacturing constraints.

03STL VERIFICATION

Cross-check the exported mesh against the authoritative CAD and analytical model.

04PHYSICAL TEST

Separate what the geometry proves from what hands-on or instrumented testing proves.

CONTROLLED MOTION

V6 changes the question.

Instead of asking a surface to stop every movement, RotaryLock separates the problem: resist lateral translation and rocking while intentionally allowing rotation around the vertical axis.

V7 then extends the research in the opposite direction — adding angular clutch geometry back into the interface to study arbitrary-angle rotational engagement.

BEYOND SURFACE SYSTEMS

Jobsite products built from the same mindset.

LAS began with practical installation problems. The Breakable Tile Spacer remains part of that product family: simple geometry, purposeful material use and a tool designed around how the job is actually done.
